Bugs, Charmed, and Lotz o Hugs

So, on Father’s Day, my family went to go see Toy Story 3. I absolutely LOVED it! At first, you think that Sunnyside Day Care is a nice little place, but that’s only the butterfly room. Then comes the caterpillar room. All the toys hate it! And Rex loses his tail. At night, Buzz goes to talk to Lotz o Hugs (“call me Lotzo”) but finds Ken and some others playing poker. All this time, Woody escaped and is at a little girl’s house. If I said anymore, it would ruin it. But, I’ll tell you a few things. Trash, Monkey, Spanish, Donated, Tortilla, and don’t judge Lotzo by how he sounds. It is a little sad, but in the end, it turns out good. Oh, and did I mention, Andy is going to college? I would recommend it to anybody who likes Disney movies, especially, the Toy Story fans. It’s my favorite out of the 3.
Hey videogame fans, it’s Zip! This time, I’m going to tell you about Animal Crossing: City Folk, specifically the Bug-Off. A few weeks ago on City Folk was the Bug-Off and I am going to tell you about how I won it. I was looking around all day for bugs, but I could only find small ones, like honeybees. Then, my sister saw it. It was huge and green. It took a few tries to catch it, but it was totally worth it. I had caught the Birdwing Butterfly, one of the rarest butterflies on the game. I went straight to Nat, the lizard who runs the Bug-Off, and turned it in. I had beat the record by 62 points! All the other bugs I caught were worthless in the competition, so I decided to sell them to Nook (who is completely annoying). With that money, I went to the town hall and paid off my home loan. The next day, I found a letter from the Bug-Off in my mailbox. I had won the competition and got the trophy.
Gotta go play! Later!
Now to charm you! My mom joined 2 charm swaps on a website. One was an Alice in Wonderland (the new one) one and the other was a Pixar one. In the Alice in Wonderland one, she made 2 charms so both her and I got a bracelet. One was the drink me bottle and the other was the tweedles. In the Pixar one, she made one, a Knick Knack one. If you know Pixar Shorts, then you know what I’m talking about. But if you don’t, Knick Knack is a little cartoon about a snowman in a snow globe that wants to be with the beach figures. Now, if you don’t know what a charm swap is, it is where you make like 20 of the same charm and then you send it in to the person who started the swap. They send back one charm from each person who was in the swap and then you have to buy a bracelet to put the charms on.
So I've change how often I'm going to update my blog. It'll be once a month unless I have something very important to show you. So on that note. . .
Later Taters!

Long Time, No See
Hello Sock- Lovers! It’s been quite a while since I posted anything, but I have many fun things for you (including a special new section)!
First, I would like to introduce a section called Mysteri. In this section, I try to figure out a mystery that my owner has found. Right now, we have the mystery of the new flower. In my front yard, I have a large plant that has never produced a flower. But now, after a few years, it has one and I don’t know what it will look like. So, I will be posting pictures of it on here.
I have a DS game called Personal Trainer: Cooking. It has a ton of different recipes. So, the other day, I decided to try Spanish Sugar Toast. It’s kinda like french toast. It was delish!
Next, I would like to introduce to you a new section here on Sock Stories. It is run by my Zumbuddy friend, Zip, and it’s called The Videogame Fan Corner. So let me hand the computer over to Zip, the Videogame Master!
Hey, it’s Zip! I am here to bring you hints, help, and news about videogames! Today, I will be talking about Pokemon, specifically one called Lugia. The other day in Pokemon Heart Gold, I was heading toward Whirl Islands to catch the legendary Lugia. I went into one of the islands and found Lugia’s cave. I offered the Silver Wing, and suddenly, Lugia appeared. I surfed up to Lugia, and was sucked into battle immediately. I fought long and hard with my favorite Pokemon, Fearow, and finally, it was time to use a Pokeball. First, I attempted to use a Dusk ball, but it failed. I was all out of special Pokeballs, and only had the standard ones left. So, I decided to take a chance, and with that Pokeball in my right hand, I threw it at Lugia. I didn’t think it would work, but, to my surprise, it did! I was thrilled! I decided to name Lugia after one of my best friends, Maxy. Below is a picture of my giant catch. Earlier in the game, I had a chance to catch Ho-Oh, but I killed him, so today I am going to attempt to go back and catch him. Hopefully next time, I’ll be able to tell you the story of my Ho-Oh catch. IF you have any questions, or would like to share a story of your Pokemon catch, please write a comment to this post. See you next time on the Videogame Fan Corner!
I hope you all like the new videogame section. I would like to bring you one more new section, hosted by Stella, called, Whoa! It’s Virtual! Stella, it’s your time to shine!
Hey guys, it’s Stella! Whoa! It’s Virtual! is a section of Sock Stories that uses five different iPod Touch/ iPhone apps. Each is a little different than the other, but they all have something in common: you make virtual food! If you would like to use these apps, they are $0.99 each and their names are Cupcakes, More Pizza, More Toast, More Salad, and More Sundaes. Each week on Whoa! It’s Virtual!, I bring you a new theme for my creations, and to kick off this new section, I will be making stuff based on Sock Stories! Under each picture of the food is the name of it and how to make it.
And now, I would like to introduce my special guest, Queen Soccer. Today, she’ll be talking about the song that Sie Sie and her made up. So here she is!
‘Sup! My name is Queen Soccer, and I’m going to tell you the words to the song Sie Sie and I made up, called Smoother My Brothers. It goes like this:
(chorus)
My troublesome greedy brothers
The least-favorites of my mother
Are the ones I want to smoother
In a bunch of pigeon poo
(pdooby doo)
If you have naughty brothers
That make you want to shudder
Then tell your dad or mother
To send them off to booty-kickin camp
(smash bang)
chorus
If this treatment doesn't work
Then they're big jerks
So find a grocery clerk
To getcha some food poisioning
(puke puke)
chorus
(chorus 2)
So if you are like me
(oh!)
Then you'll surely want to flee
(hey)
From all the stinging bees
(budump)
That are your troublesome brothers
Chorus
(hold last note)
(oh, yeah)
Keep on singin’!
Thank you Queen Soccer! This week, I am doing a poll on Sock Stories. Mysteri, The Videogame Fan Corner, Whoa! It’s Food!, or Guest Stars. Vote on the poll!
Well, the time has come for this post to end, so, later taters!

Socko in the City
Hi! I’m back from San Fransisco and have many great adventures to share. So, look at the pictures, look at the captions, and enjoy!
First, we went to Dynamo Donuts. It’s a little donut shop that sells gourmet donuts (maple bacon, vanilla bean, dulce de lechce…) Check out their website here!
Next we went to our hotel. We stayed at the Hyatt and it was wonderful! The top pic is of me in front of their fountain and the lower one is me in my room.
After that, we went to the craft fair and found some of my family! They’re made of recycled sweaters. We didn’t buy any, though.
Then, we went to the ferry building. There, I got an salami cone with ham. It was the best deli meat ever! The company’s name is Boccalone and you can order some of their meat here.
Then we went back to the craft fair and bought me this nifty hat. Also, we went to the farmer’s market and got a bag of honey sticks.
Then, we decided to play around a bit and found a hot dog filming a comercial for his hot dog stand “Zog’s Dogs.” Check out their hot-dog-rific website! I got to be in their commercial, so, look for me in it! Then, I took a picture with my creator’s brother.
For lunch, we went to Luna Park for smores. Here I am with the smores, chocolate on the left, homemade graham crackers in the center, and marshmallows on the left. They also have a place in LA. Check out the sf site here and check out the la one here.
Then, we went to Chrissy Fields. It was more like a beach than fields, though. On the beach, we saw a man balancing rocks, which you see in the last 2 pics. No cement was used, just rocks!
Then we went to Chinatown and Little Italy. In Chinatown, I bought a string figure and saw New Year dragons. In Little Italy, we ate dinner at Tony’s Pizza Napoletana. Check out their website here.
This morning, we check out and went to Valley Fair! So, that’s my story!
Later,
Socko

This is my Activity Meter.
Also, the best selling book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid is becoming a movies and is in the theaters in march. Look at this link to watch the trailer!

Yummy Asian Noodle Stir Fry!
As you know, I like to cook. So, tonight, I decided to make an Asian Noodle Stir Fry. It had chicken, carrots, sesame seeds, and teriyaki sauce. I loved it so much, I got myself seconds.
On the other hand, Stella’s sea monkeys hatched today and look like tiny bugs swimming in the tank. You can’t see them in the picture but maybe when they’re full grown (1/2 to 3/4 of an inch) you will be able to see them.
Later Taters,
Socko
